Rich Text pages hold more than text. You can add images, videos, buttons, documents, separators, and countdowns anywhere in your content.
Adding content with the toolbar
Click Edit in the top right of your Rich Text page, then use the Insert button in the toolbar at the bottom of the content area.
Click Insert. (Keyboard shortcut: Cmd + / on a Mac, Ctrl + / on Windows.)
Pick what you want to add, or start typing to filter the list.
Follow the prompts for that content type.
Here is what you can add:
Image — a photo or graphic from your library
Video Embed — a YouTube or Vimeo video
Document — a PDF your users can view
Button — a tappable link
Separator — a horizontal divider line
Countdown — a live count down to a date and time
Where your content lands
Insert adds your content at the cursor. If the cursor is on an empty line, the new content replaces that line; otherwise it goes in just below. If you have not clicked into the page yet, it is added at the very end.
Placing content between two blocks
When you want content in an exact spot, use the + button in the left margin instead. Click into the paragraph you want to add below, and the + appears beside it. The whole row is clickable.
On a brand new page, you will also see a prompt reading "Type here, or use ⊕ to add an image, video, or button." It disappears as soon as you start typing.
Faster ways to add content
You can skip the menu entirely:
Drag an image or PDF from your computer straight onto the page. A highlight shows where it will land as you drag.
Paste an image from your clipboard to drop it in at the cursor.
Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link on an empty line to turn it into a video.
Two things to know when dragging: if you drag a file we cannot turn into content, you will see "That file type isn't supported". If you drag several files at once, you will see "Drop one file at a time" — each drop adds one piece of content.
