When building your app with Yapp, you can add different types of content pages to organize and present your event information. Two of the most commonly used pages for agenda content are the Schedule page and the Multi-Track page. While they may seem similar at first glance, each serves a different purpose and offers a unique experience for your attendees.

Schedule Page

The Schedule page is best for single-track events or simpler agendas where everything can be displayed in one list.

Key Features:

  • Displays all sessions in a chronological list by date and time.

  • Attendees can scroll through the entire event schedule in one continuous view.

  • Ideal for smaller events or agendas that don’t need categorization by track or topic.

Use Case Examples:

  • A one-day seminar

  • A simple retreat agenda

  • Company offsite with a single stream of activities

Multi-Track Page

The Multi-Track page is ideal for events with concurrent sessions happening across multiple tracks, rooms, or categories.

Key Features:

  • Sessions are grouped into tracks (you define the track names).

  • Attendees can filter or toggle between tracks to see only what’s relevant to them.

  • Great for helping attendees navigate complex agendas with overlapping sessions.

Use Case Examples:

  • Conferences with breakout sessions

  • Trade shows with different themes or topic areas

  • Events offering customizable attendee experiences

Can I Use Both?

Absolutely! Some organizers choose to include both pages for different purposes — for example, using Schedule for a high-level overview and Multi-Track for a detailed, filterable session list. Just keep in mind that maintaining two schedules means updating both pages if anything changes.
