If you're attending an event in a different time zone or traveling during the event, Yapp makes it easy to stay on track. You can view the event schedule in the event's original time zone or switch to your local time zone with a tap.

How Time Zones Work in the Schedule

  • Default Display: The schedule is always shown in the event’s designated time zone by default.

  • Time Zone Indicator: If you’re in a different time zone, you’ll see a note just below the page title showing the event time zone (e.g., “GMT-4”).

  • Switching to Local Time: Tap the time zone label (e.g., “GMT-4”) to convert all schedule times to your current local time. Once switched, the label will update to say "Local Time".

  • Same Time Zone: If you’re already in the same time zone as the event, you won’t see any time zone label — times will appear as-is.

This Works Everywhere You View Times

This behavior applies both when viewing the full list of scheduled items and when viewing the details of a specific schedule item.

That way, whether you're planning your trip or checking what's next on the go, you'll always know exactly when something is happening — in your time.
