You can now assign multiple tracks to your schedule items when importing your event schedule via CSV! This makes it easier to organize sessions by type, audience, topic, or any custom track you’ve created.
Here’s how to use this new feature:
Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File
In your CSV file, use the Track
column to list the tracks for each session. To assign multiple tracks to a single session, separate them using ||
(double pipe characters).
Example:
Title | Start Time | End Time | Tracks |
Opening Keynote | 9:00 AM | 10:00 AM | Keynote |
Design Workshop | 10:15 AM | 11:30 AM | Workshop |
Lunch | 12:00 PM | 1:00 PM | Keynote||Workshop |
✅ Tip: Make sure the track names match what you’ve already created in the app. If a track doesn’t exist yet, Yapp will automatically create it for you.
Step 2: Upload Your CSV
Head to the Multi-Track page of your app.
Click Import CSV.
Upload your file and confirm that the column headers match (especially the
Track
column).Review the preview, then click Import.
We’ll create each schedule item and assign it to the correct tracks—even if there are multiple!

FAQs
What happens if I mistype a track name?
We’ll create a new track with that exact name. Double-check your names to avoid duplicates.
Can I use commas or semicolons instead of ||
?
No—use ||
only to separate multiple tracks. Other characters may break the import.
Can I edit tracks after importing?
Absolutely. You can always edit a schedule item and its tracks manually in the app.
